Bengals choke again, lose, 31-22
THEY FOUGHT BACK,
BUT NEVER LED AFTER
DIGGING A 17-0 HOLE
The Cincinnati Bengals committed blunder after blunder after blunder …
… and they still had a chance to win.
But these are the Bengals, who — when they aren’t screwing up — they’re choking.
They lost to the Dallas Cowboys, 31-22, for their fifth straight loss to start the season.
The Bengals played hard, but not smart. That’s why they’re 0-5 heading to the New York Jets, who are 2-2 and well-rested from their bye week.

Lack of a front four pass rush destory’s this team year after year. Dallas’s O-line dwarfed ours. Like Manning before, Romo sat back and ate a sandwich without any pressure. How can you go 17-years without a pass rush? Perry’s fumble didn’t help and Carson over-throwing everything in the first half only added to the misery. Bad call on the 2-point conversation attempt to Utecht. Go to Henry! Bad teams find ways to lose and we come up with new ones every Sunday.By Ben

They showed signs of life today but 0-5 is 0-5. I’ve rooted for Chris Perry but it looks like Benson is going to become the regular RB with Perry being the 3rd down back. How do you average a fumble a game?By psychostats

The Cowboys were in a funk for most of the game. Cincinnati has reached the point (already!) at which other teams have trouble getting up to play them. Yipee, we have 11 more of these sleepwalker type games to go.By JumpedShip

Who cares. Grew up in the area a Bengals fan. Stuck with them through moves to Colts and Titans territory. Now my 12 year old laughs at me. I was done before, but this year made me a fan of the Titans. No more Mike Brown shakedowns for me. Why would anyone stick around hoping this team will ever win consistently….By James A

Jumpedship.. Why waste your words ona Bengals coumn if you dont care? Go to the Titans since they r 5-0 maybe next year it will be the Broncos when they are 9-1. Bandwagon member, we dont need you anyways. Things are looking up we may have lost but it looks ok. IM Bengals thru and thru, not on teams just for records. Enjoy your life of shipjumping. James A, I’ll take your advice and leave the wagon to you and the other Pollyanna’s. Repeating the same behavior and expecting a different outcome still defines “INSANITY”. I wish you luck with your dedication. Somewhere down the road the B’Gals might actually be relevant. I won’t root against them or for them. I just don’t care. I post here because I’m curious why any intelligent life form would continue to support this pointless waste of their time and money.
