Only six schedules tougher
If this were college football or basketball, the Browns would have a leg up on most of the league in the strength-of-schedule department.
It’s a minefield from opening day at home against the Dallas Cowboys to the final game at Heinz Field against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
One saving grace, however: Based on last season’s records, nobody in the AFC North has an easier road, and the Steelers’ schedule is the toughest in the league.
Keeping in mind that some of these teams may not be who we think they are (subtle tribute to Dennis Green there), here are the 10 toughest schedules, showing ‘07 winning percentages, wins and losses of this year’s opponents:

Say what Sean? You have Dallas, Colts, Denver, Giants all at HOME, Bengals play 3 of those teams on the road. Quit whinning about your tough schedule. 7-9 for the Browns this year, night games will take a toll, QB was a one year wonder, Jamal has his $$, they will not catch anyone off guard…By jeffl

Lots of national attention to watch the Browns drop to 5-11 again. You’ve got to love the fact that the entire AFC North is listed on the list of 10 toughest schedules (according to last years records). Should be mildly entertaining.By joe

Hopefully the whole nation gets to witness the Browns go 0-5 on national TV. I was told countless times while tailgating on Dec. 23rd that this game against the Bengals was meaningless and the Browns are in the playoffs. Seems a minor detail was forgotten by the Browns and their fans. Everyone in the AFC North as a tough schedule, it’s how the NFL’s rotation works. Your QB Anderson is nothing but a flash in the pan, he looked stellar in the Pro Bowl. Enjoy it and the Draft’s first day with no picks.By DD
